Build Confidence for Everyday Life

Life Skills Development Centre

A nurturing space that encourages independence, confidence, and personal growth.

At Yadhavi Foundation, our Life Skills Development Centre is dedicated to nurturing the independence, confidence, and holistic growth of children and young adults with special needs. Our programmes are carefully structured across multiple levels—Primary, Secondary, Pre-Vocational, Vocational, and NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling)—to ensure that each child receives tailored support aligned with their developmental stage and abilities.

From foundational skills like daily living activities, reading & writing, and cognitive development, to pre-vocational and vocational training, our curriculum focuses on practical learning, creativity, and employable skills. Students engage in hands-on activities such as art & craft, computer literacy, bakery, block printing, and office-related tasks, alongside continued development of cognitive, functional academic, and motor skills.

For adolescents and young adults, our NIOS programme provides opportunities to develop academic, vocational, and creative competencies, preparing them for higher education, employment, and independent living. Across all levels, children benefit from structured guidance, personalised attention, and a supportive environment that encourages learning, growth, and personal achievement.

The Life Skills Development Centre empowers children to gain confidence, develop independence, and acquire skills that will serve them throughout life, fostering both personal and professional growth in a safe, inclusive, and engaging setting.
